Prox Dynamics (pictured above)
Prox Dynamics designs and manufactures extremely small unmanned aerial systems—their Black Hornet is about the size of a hummingbird—for personal situational awareness in military, safety and security settings, including use by U.S. allies in Afghanistan. Aerodynamic performance of the Black Hornet was recently compared to that of hummingbirds, showing how close these man-made nano-UAVs are to their natural inspiration. With an eye toward the growing U.S. market, Prox Dynamics USA incorporated in the United States in 2014 to meet future customer demands and objectives.
